It's both. It's a derogatory term. It doesn't apply to every male who can't get sex. It doesn't apply to every male who is misogynist. It applies to a particular culture-group of males who are both. It's not a contradiction, it's an intersection.
You're not using it as an intersection. You're taking two extremely different things and switching between them in order to create a false impression of large numbers for political use.

You think there are vast hordes of violent genuinely women-hating men who like rape, blah blah blah. If that was true, it would be a huge danger.
I'll do the same thing in a much less serious way:
There are a lot of cats in the UK.
There are some tigers in the world and tigers are cats.
Some tigers are actively hostile to humans.
There's a VAST HORDE of person-eating tigers in the UK!
But hey, I'm not commenting on the degree to which a vast horde of person-eating tigers is a danger.
They harass people online a lot. They have been known to cause problems through doxing, false claims and, in our current example, a campaign of setting the IRS on a hated group. Generally they don't go beyond that, though. But that is enough. As to "vast hordes"? Yes - there are loads of them. And they have a disproportionately loud online voice on top of that. I suspect you have never run across them in numbers as you seem to think they're not a thing.
I don't seem to think that at all. If I thought that, I would have said that. What I'm disagreeing with is mainly the deception you're using to erect a flimsy facade you can use to pretend there's any justification for your entirely fictitious claim regarding their numbers. I'm also disagreeing with that ludicrous inflation of numbers. "Not that many" is not the same as "none at all". I'm sure you're aware that there are numbers smaller than a vast horde and greater than zero.
In the middle ages, there were a few people who used poison or attempted to use magic for malicious purposes. Does that mean that there was the vast horde of evil witches that many people in that time and place believed existed? Or was it just propaganda made up by people who benefitted from it?
I don't doubt that there are some very sexist men. Sexism causes sexism, with each strain of it feeding the other.
And no, not imaginary. There is a large and increasing number of men who basically have foregone real life inter-sexual interaction and now just live off video games and porn. You think they are non-existent or a mere handful? You're hugely naïve - there are tonnes of them!
