I've try win7 last week for the first time which i got free from msnd which i have installed on my bro computer and everything worked great his game's run much better etc.etc

Now i've just got my copy installed on my new hdd and ok its faster then vista but:
My tv card doesn't work
My razer copper head there no drives for but i does work just not great
My webcam don't work but i don't care about that to much
My email with outlook 07 doesn't work right doesn't download the right settings and stuff compared to vista

God no's what my games will be like if there run which they should be fine but atm i've stopped using my win7 drive and now using my vista drive

Thats just my thoughts about win7 but i'll go try it again next month or so then hopfully this will work better

Share your thoughts and problems your haveing ?

None of the above. Razor Copper head you need to search for on these forums - there are updated drivers and I'm sure there's been several posts about it. Check with your TV manufacturer for Windows 7 drivers - they may or may not be updated ones.

I use Outlook 2007 and everything is fine. I setup my mail servers manually though - have you tried that? I can't really understand what you're getting at?

Most games will work (I'm currently going through some really old ones at the moment for compatibility checking).

3 of those are driver issues which you should be able to correct fairly easily or at least request updated ones from the manufacturers. I've done two Win7 installs, only drivers I've had to install on either PC was the Nvidia driver on the laptop, literally not installed any other driver so far.

Nothing you have posted is Windows 7's fault, so I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at.

TV Card - Should have confirmed suitable Windows 7 drivers were available rather than presuming.

Razer Copper Head - Similar deal, though as m4cc45 has suggested I believe there is a fix/workaround

Webcam - Same deal.

E-mail - Erm, not Windows 7's fault you haven't set the account / Outlook settings up correctly / how you want them.

Games will run perfectly fine provided you have correct drivers installed and have built the OS properly.

So yeah, Windows 7 works fine, if you build it properly.

Only thing I have that won't work is my Labtec webcam. Still no W7 drivers and the Vista 64 ones don't work.

Sorry guys I'm not entirely sure what i was getting at here really just got **** off with it :(

Will the email thing isn't realy a problem as such i'll probably be able to fix that my self

Razer copper head there is driver coming out 13 nov i think i said on there web site but i'll try there forum

Tv card is a
WIN TV NOVA-T USB2
Which i looked on there website and couldn't find a driver and it didn't take my cd drive.

Does the g25 wheel work ok on win7 too ?

yeah i might try again later because it should work ok works fine on vista

Right now my vista drive (Maxtor 250GB) has all files and just os on and my (WD 500GB) has all my games stored on it.
Now i have new hdd (F3 500GB) os drive for win7 how can i play the games that are on my wd and with out re-installing them all ? can that be done ?

I find windows7 to be a improvement over vista :)

Have all drivers working including my Razer Deathadder (which is all working at 1000hz/1800dpi).

Been using it at work for a few weeks as we are a MS Gold Partner and not had many problems.
There are a few apps we run that required us to install XP Mode tho.

...whats that? Windows 7 only came out Three Days Ago?!?!?!? and it's ONLY got 80% driver support?

UNACCEPTABLE!

just think back - how long was it before Vista had such comprehensive driver support? from what i can remember, it was over four MONTHS...

i think its pretty amazing considering its only just come out, all i've installed is the gfx drivers and my sound card drivers. even my modem worked staight away, didn't have to put my user name or password in to connect to the net.

its super quick compared to vista, dont know if thats down to using 64bit instead of 32 or W7 is just quicker.

I installed it within an hour and I didn't need to manually install one driver. It's running fantastically and I love the new taskbar.

love everything about it

i hated vista, couldnt put my finer on why, it just felt clumsy

have not had one single problem with win 7, runs and feels really superb

I know people slate MS for some things, but this deserves a pat on the back.

Any idea about this

Love windows 7, been using since the beta and has been a solid os, but so was vista with the right drivers. Just hope people give it the chance it deserves unlike people did with vista
