So i dunno wether to build my own or buy a pre-made.

If i get one made i can have it pre-overclocked and ready to go since i haven't a clue about overclocking.

The system i'm looking at right now is as followers.

Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 750D Full Tower Gaming Case w/ USB 3.0 & Full Side*Panel Window

CPU: INTEL® Core™ i7 5820K

CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H100

Motherboard: ASUS X99*A INTEL X99 Chipset

Memory: 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4/2133mhz Quad Channel Memory

Video Card: MSI Armor OC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

Power Supply: 850 Watts (Cooler Master 850watt Silent Pro M2 Modular Gaming Power Supply * Triple SLI Ready)

Hard Drive: 500 GB Samsung 840 EVO SATA III Gaming MLC Solid State Disk

Secondary Hard Drive: 2TB SATA*III 6.0Gb/s 64M Cache 7200rpm Hard Drive

Quote: £1580.

I think that's a pretty decent system, and maybe sli it in the future. Or would i be able to make a lot better myself for around the same price?

Hi,

For gaming ideally you want Z97 as it will be faster in the real world. You could also save a lot of money with it. Will you be editing or such as well or just gaming? Also, do you require an operating system?

What resolution will you be playing at?

Building yourself is good fun, and cheaper also, and there's loads of videos on youtube etc on how to build it - not too hard at all!

I'll primarily be gaming, no editing or the likes, right now my monitor is only 1920x1080 but i'll probably be wanting to upgrade to 4k and sli in the future.

That has a 980 + a PSU suitable for SLI
Your choice of case, though there are other options, such as the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe, Corsair 760T/780T etc

Overclockers charge about £60 for building the PC for you

Motherboard upgrade program - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18631511

You could even get SLI 970s for this budget, but it's a waste right now for 1440p and probably better to go for a slightly faster single card

Again, assumes you have an operating system also

8GB RAM is ample for gaming and probably will be for a good while, however 16GB could be a good idea seeing as you have the budget for it :)
Cables and LEDs are not strictly necessary of course, but there to add to the "blingness" etc

Also just realised the H105 is out of stock so you could look at an alternative option, though it seems Corsair stuff gets restocked quite quickly

Nice will OCUK Overclock and is that coolermaster CPU cooler good/better than the corsair or should i wait for them to get the H100 back in stock?

Also if i buy all separate and OCUK build for me do i keep all warranty on my components?

And is it worth getting a 980 over 970 or is it wasted money?
