Thoughts on GTX 1080 TI upgrade to RTX 2080 TI

I'd only go for a 2080Ti if you didn't already have a 1080Ti. Not a whole lot of point unless you're rich TBH.

I went from an RX480 to a 2080Ti so I had my reasons. :p

Even now with current releases I've found out that you can't have everything maxed out including RT features @ 4K/60, and if that's what you're aiming for you might be a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, with a quick tweak of the power limit and an increase in RAM clocks nothing else comes close except an RTX Titan.

Skip this gen and pick up the next Ti.
 
just got an MSI Optix MPG27CQ monitor very nice upgrade from 1080p monitor i had I mite wait now on the Graphics cards the 1080ti works fine for me right now
