Not just because I brought one today (6800k), but how do you think it would run on low/medium graphics? (win 7, 4gb ram)
I Love the Christmasy emoticons.

Not very playable in multiplayer at 1080p, i would imagine.
The 6800k is essentially a refresh of the 5800k with minimal performance gain, so i suppose this video is quite relevant.

To me that fps is not acceptable for competative first person shooter multiplayer, but i suppose others might find 18-27 fps not all that bad.
I would have held out till feb for Kaveri, if you had a rig to use for the meantime.
From looking around the 6800K APU struggles to sustain BF3 at 30fps with low settings and 1280x1024 res so BF4 is gonna be pretty close to unplayable IMO.
Agreed, i get just over half the performance in bf4 compared to what i got in bf3 on the system in sig. From looking around the 6800K APU struggles to sustain BF3 at 30fps with low settings and 1280x1024 res so BF4 is gonna be pretty close to unplayable IMO.
clock the Ram to 2000+
CPU performance wise it will be fine. GPU performance wont be enough. I would highly recommend getting a separate GPU to run it anywhere close to 1080p.
As for game performance, yet to see it NOT crash on any system set up. Most bugged game I have ever seen![]()
I`ve played the Campaign 3 times and have yet to experience a crash. I can`t speak for the multiplayer side of the game, as I never play it. Most new games have bugs and this is no different, certainly not the worst.
For a laugh I have just made a 5800K APU system and am installing BF4.
Any settings you want me to try?
Single player yeah?
