Thoughts on LG XF1

Thinking of getting an LG XF1 500GB HDD, for generl backups, transfers etc but also for portable media player.

Just wondered if anyone had tried or has one of these and what there thoughts are of them.

Ive not specifically used that drive, but ive got one of the other LG 500gb external portable drives and it works really well, very happy with it. Quiet, fast and light.

Same. Have the older XD2 and it is a great little drive. Runs fine from a laptop USB port even without using the double USB cable it came with. Those use a Hitachi HDD and guessing the new models are the same?
