For what its worth I can make the battery last ~ 1hr 30mins through light browsing / spreadsheet work, its only under gaming that the battery life is crippled.

portability, its a bit on the heavy side, just under 6kg, but i sat through a 4 hour lecture with it, lasted 3 and a half before it left me

some light gaming, web browsing and writing on notepad. I've disabled bluetooth off now, so on monday i'll see if i can last the 4hours

That's not a bad battery life on something so big, but 6KG would make carrying it around a pain.

yeah i do agree 5.92kg is not really portable, but its not really that big of an issue, i just take it as a bit of weight training.
