I am a complete newbie when it comes to PC's I'm ashamed to say and haven't built a PC in my life but have owned a handful over the years. I am looking to buy a gaming PC that I can play VR using my Quest and new games well maybe 4k if that's worth it. I have to keep my misses happy so it has to look nice in the office without all the RGB and windows showing the inside.

Edit here are the specs,

Case: Fractal Design ERA ITX Case – Grey with Walnut
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8GHz 6 Core CPU – 4.4GHz Turbo
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING Motherboard
Graphics Card - Choose 750w+ PSU to unlock all options:NVidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GPU – Extended lead time
Memory: 16GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 3600MHz (2x8GB)
Primary Storage Drive: 1TB WD Blue SN550 NVME M.2 SSD (2400MB/R, 1950MB/W)
CPU Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H60 120mm Processor Liquid Cooling
PSU: Corsair CV650 650W 80 Plus Bronze PSU ATX Black PSU
WiFi: Built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with the Motherboard
Sound Card: Integrated Sound Card On The Motherboard
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64 Bit

I just want to know what I should change if anything? Is the PSU ok what about the RAM. Should I get the 3070? And what is better Intel CPU or Ryzen? I don't mind spending a little more as this will have to last me a good few years.

Lastly could anyone recommend a monitor for me please I'm not sure if I should go 4k or not.

@iakhtar I wouldnt link to the website as its a competitor of OCUK and they obviously dont like it. Just copy and paste the specs and price

OC do one similar, cheaper and smaller andyou can turn the rgb off to appease the girlfriend

My basket at Overclockers UK:
  • 1 x OcUK Gaming Radiance Bullet - AMD Ryzen 3600 - Powered By Asus Gaming PC = £1,379.99
    • Memory:Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C15 3000MHz Dual Channel Kit
    • Primary Solid State Drive:WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB M.2 2280 Solid State Drive (WDS500G2B0B)
    • Case:CoolerMaster MasterBox Q300L Micro-ATX Case - Black Window
    • Secondary Solid State Drive:Unwanted
    • Storage Drive:Unwanted
    • Graphics Card:Asus GeForce RTX 3060Ti TUF Gaming OC 8GB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card
    • Operating System:Microsoft Windows 10 Home Advanced - Systems
    • Peripheral Bundle:Unwanted
Total: £1,394.09 (includes shipping: £14.10)

The psu is an unknown quantity on the other website. Better to get a trusted brand like Seasonic or Corsair.
32 gig of ram is overkill for just a gaming rig.
If your serious about going to 4K then a 3070 or even 3080 (although they are almost impossible to find) would be better.

IMHO 4K isnt worth the investment. Your better off going 1440p with a high 144+ refresh rate like :

Total: £1,256.95 (includes shipping: £28.02)

Thank you for your response, I have had a look at the one on OC and I think I might buy that with the LG monitor, thank you again. I have edited and listed the specs. This is the case too.

Im sure if you speak to OCUK about the pre-build they would change the case to you to something better if you wanted.
