Evening All,

Can I have your thoughts on the following build please?
What would you change or keep? Which board would you go for?
I know I don’t have a cooler on the list because I can’t decide which is best suited for this build.

Gaming PC (Mainly COD)

CPU
: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XTX Nitro+ Vapour-X 24gb

RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB EXPO 32gb DDR5 6000MHz C30

Case: Fractal North XL

Motherboard: Either Asus ROG Strix B650E-F or Asus ROG Strix B650E-E

Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD

PSU: Corsair RMx Series RM850x 80 plus gold fully modular

Hi

Looks solid choices .

The E-F motherboard has one less m2 drive (total 3) than the e- e with 4 but is cheaper.

Alternative memory.

Personally would get a 1000w PSU but you should be fine with 850w.

Fractal north XL takes a 360mm aio in the roof so the Arctic Freezer 3 would be my choice.

Why are you choosing such a large case?

Hardware Canucks tested and found that there was no benefit to AIO coolers over air coolers with Ryzen CPUs.

I just thought it would be better for airflow and fan configuration. Also gives scope for changing components in future

Looks good but I would swap out the Samsung for a Seagate FireCuda 530 which does come on offer. It’s a tad faster and the endurance is much better. I bought two since launch, last one I paid £95.
