I've just ordered a new PC for gaming at 1440p as well as doing all the writing i need to do for Uni and an upcoming placement what are the thoughts on the specs for gaming in particular?
-Lian lancool 2 case
-AMD ryzen 5 3600
-MSI MPG X570 edge wifi
-NZXT kracken X52
-1TB Sata SSD + 2TB HDD (Will add NVME at a later date)
-16GB Corsair venegence 3600mhz (Ryzen optimised)
-Gigabyte Aorus 2070 super for those sweet fans (will be verticle mounting if thermals check out)
-Corsair RM 850w PSU
-MSI MAG271CQR Monitor (a thorn in my side as its out of stock currently and since ive ordered on finance to pay this off when ive got my job in July ive got to wait for it to come in to get all my stuff, i've sent an email and they said its on order now but i've got no clue as to how long i've got to wait? which is annoying)

would have gone for B450 MSI Carbon with WiFi saving £40 odd , and 3200hz which extra £10 .
Eisbaer 240 AIO which is a vastly better all in one/closed loop circuit cooler then NZXT , extra £10
Seasonic 650w PSU saves £8 .

Frees up Aorus monitor to sync with the RGB of the GPU

Have Aorus GPU and monitor myself :)

Monitor will be G-sync compatible . @GIGA-Man should be able to confirm (gigabyte rep on here )

Aorus RX 5700 XT would have saved a good amount of cash. Slightly under the RTX 2070S but woulnd't notice the difference

Thanks mate i was tempted by the 5700xt but i'd heard they had a few problems with flickering occasionally? i definately should have gone for the gigabyte monitor ive emailed to ask if i can swap the monitor ive ordered for a different one and just pay the difference directly if thats possible

Considering very basic level CPU you wasted lots unnecessary money on that cooler.
Little over £20 cooler would have been enough for six core Ryzen.
(besides having nothing to wear/fail catastrophically no matter how long in use)

Unnecessary expensive and pretty bad for price mobo was already mentioned.
And hope you're not paying Samsung brand tax in SSD.
