Hi,

We went to look at this car today:

Anyone owned one or have any helpful info?

Other recommendations for a similar price?

My Wife has joint issues so an auto is a must.

We looked at a Tiguan and thought it wasn't so good, quite uninspiring.

It needs to have a biggish boot for pram etc and the higher driving position is a bonus.

No Mondeos or Verons please

Anyone know if the Ford Powershift is more reliable than DSG? (just sold a dead DSG equipped Octavia VRS)

Well that's clearly down to the driver and/or the tyres though isn't it?
Isn't the Kuga a 4x4?

Almost certainly, I didn't know the full details of her commute but a majority of it was an A road. I think I recall her saying it wasn't 'enough' of a 4x4, not sure what the expectation was, I assume not a defender. Seemed odd she would cite that as an issue and then go to a 2wd car.
