Thoughts please on this spec.

Hi, a couple of bits I would change.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £268.68 (includes shipping: £8.70)

The nvme SSD is faster than the Samsung and 40 quid cheaper and the ram is also faster for the same price.
For the price of that psu you could get a platinum unit.
the cooler you have chosen is to tall for the case.

not a great value build tbh.

2080 super build for £90 more
(obvs if you don't need a 2080 super, it'll be ~£200 cheaper)

Thank you for your input, Joxeon and Tamzzy.

I decided to take off the hard drive as I'll probably get an external one. I also changed the graphics card to the RTX 2070S in order to lower costs a little, and I'll probably upgrade that card before Christmas.

I am hoping that I can get OCUK to build this for me as I cant use one hand.

Here is my updated build and would appreciate any comments;

yes, just post in customer services section - will cost approx £100-150...but they will warranty the whole build for 3 years

re: cpu cooler - the fuma2 is new and not widely available yet...may be worth asking ocuk when they will come in, else the whole build will be delayed
if you cannot wait...then consider this instead: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/scythe-scmg-5pcgh-mugen-5-pcgh-edition-cpu-cooler-hs-047-sy.html

if you're only getting a 2070 super, then 650w is fine

My basket at Overclockers UK:

If you don't need Wifi could as well drop to B450 Tomahawk for £20 less.
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/msi-b450-tomahawk-max-socket-am4-ddr4-atx-motherboard-mb-33t-ms.html
Both boards have same VRM components and start needing some cooling similarly to stay at good temps if 12 core is put under full load.

Normal £43 Mugen 5 has actually more cooling power than PCGH whose slow 800 rpm fans cap performance.

And with Powercolor 5700 XT Red Devil £400 that 2070 Super is rather pricy.

Neither card is future proof with lackluster raytracing performance of RTX cards.

Thanks tamzzy and EsaT for your input.

I took both of your comments and changed a few things to the build. I went for the black Kolink case and the Radeon RX 5700 card and upped the PSU to the 750W Corsair. I also went for the other heatsink you said tamzzy. I also swapped the MB for the Tomahawk EsaT mentioned as I don't need the WiFi.

This is my updated build for comments;

Four days on, can save £55 without compromising quality*:

My basket at Overclockers UK:

The Aorus is among the best 5700 XT cards and can be registered for 4 years warranty.

Leadex III better quality than Corsair TX, including the fan.

* If you plan on just enabling XMP on the RAM, then grab the Patriot. If you fancy a go at overclocking it, get the Crucial.

Thanks to everyone that had some input about this build spec.
I am now just waiting for a reply from OCUK as to the total cost including building.
