Thoughts?

I know most people arnt into 'modding' on this forum and yes it is only a fiesta but, what are your thoughts on this..

I am hoping the finished article will have a 1.7 engine from the Puma but thats a long time coming.

I actually like it, its not over the top or "look at me", just neat and tidy, very nice.

Back looks alright but i hate the front end with passion, one of the best things ford did was restyle the front and add bigger more modern front lights.

It's still a slow old shopping trolley Fiesta at the end of day....

Front end reminds of something you'd see on a Astra, lights look like those new Mustangs.

front looks chav hate the lights they are too far into the middle of the car, might look better on the edges of the bumper but they are too big aswell,
side looks v nice, so does back, imo diff front bumper with more subtle fogs and will be sweet :0

I like it. Nice subtle mods, nothing that makes it look boy-racer.

p.s. I hope the shop opposite in the photo is not a hint at its roadworthy condition

kinda hate saying things like this though as i know you have probably spent £400 + on that front bumper but its just aufull :/

haha its ok, brought it off ebay at a decent price and the bodyshop did me a favour on the spray so wasn't that expensive.

I asked for comments and I am getting both good and bad, glad people are being honest

I am kinda 50/50 on the front bumper, on one hand few MK4s have it (as its originaly for the MK5) but if im honest it just doesn't fit right so I will have to see what happens.

All looks great bar the front bumper, it's not as bad as some but it's brinking on a fast and the furious stylee

Looks tidy but why the 1.7? it will cost you a fortune and wont be worth the upgrade because its underpowered compared to what you can get for the cash.

A 2l Zetec can be dropped in for very little cash, then you can either turbo it or mate it with a CVH and tune the nads off it if you want more power. Loads cheaper than a 1.7 puma lump and has the guts to give you loads more power if you want it.

Front end looks vile, plus its the girlie shaped fiesta. Next version was the one that could be done up to make it look like it has a mean front end.

Front - made an already ugly front end look much worse. Bumper makes the car look like its gurning.

Back - Can't see any mods but it looks shiney.

Side - Wheels look a bit on the small side though I actually quite like them.

Looks fab, ideal for a first car or the run about. Don't expect much power on steep hill starts and motorway driving.

Very nice wheels btw.

I think you have made a really pants looking car look ok. the back looks better de-badged, wheels are nice not OTT. definetly an improvement. If you like the car why not spend a little on her, I certainly have on mine.

Looks ridiculous. Front bumper is stupid, rear is actually fine, but the side looks utterly daft as the front bumper comes down far lower than the sill on the side. Needs some skirts or something.

Agree with fox that it needs side skirts which will balance the looks from front to side. The front bumper doesn't look that bad imo but either needs removing or balancing with skirts.
