THOUGHTS

It looks ok, I assume it's fairly cheap being a P43 board, it has lot of of USB ports on the back that's for sure. I would be a little concerned about not having any heatsink on the mosfets and I like SATA ports to be angled to the side of the board to better keep cables tidy, but you can't really be too picky for the price, so it looks decent to me.

ok then looks like i will most prob get this then! however final question wat would be the draw back to getting this broad! is its shelf life nearly over, is the fact that the chipset is p43 instead of p45 a huge deal and how will this effect performance.

What do you want to do with it? The single biggest downside is no CrossfireX support as it only has one PCIe x16 slot. If you don't care about that then P43 and P45 are almost identical. It may have a limited BIOS so overclocking might be limited and it's not designed as an enthusiast mainboard (it seems to be aimed at energy saving PCs) so my gut feel is it'll be stable and energy efficient.

Looks to me like a sort of next generation P31-DS3L and that was/is a cracking mobo for the money. As WJA96 says, it'll probably have limited bios options wrt overclocking, and no Xfire support, etc but if the price is right (which is the main issue I'd have thought) and you don't want /need Xfire then it could be a nice choice to have.:)
It states support for DDR 1200 so its gonna be able to use fast ram so it makes me wonder if the the bios is similar to the GA G31M-ES3L I picked up a while ago which is really aimed at fasted cpus and ram (ram being faster than DDR 800 due to the lowest memory divider being 2.66). I'd like a look at this bios if possible.
