THQ officially announces Dawn of War 2

The screenshots are looking very impressive. Everything is looking a lot darker and a bit more Gothic. If the finished product can maintain this feel I am already getting excited about this.

I like the use of lighting and shade, the effects look really good for setting an atmosphere
 
I am liking the teaser trailer, hoping for at least one more masterpiece of an opening video like the original DOW's one, that thing was absolutely awesome.
 
i hope they keep the atmospheric feel that the above screenshot shows. normal DoW is all bright and clean, which isn't quite right for the grim 40k universe.

totally agree with you shame blur studios didnt do others for the expansions but costs got in the way :(
 
Holy **** those screens look amazing! I was really worried about the "6 squads" limit at first but maybe it's not such a huge thing if that doesn't include vehicles etc.

This will be huge, I need it NOW!
 
Thought they said there weren't gonna make any more of these DoW games, cheeky! Looks pretty stunning so far :p

Just curious but do you think the Beta testing will apply to people who bought this through steam?
 
anyone else read the huge article in pc gamer? Really really interesting and even though its still so far away, I have gotta say I am already signed up for the newsletters and pretty damned excited over this title :)
