Threadless ordering

How'd you manage that? Surely customs will just chase you up?

You will get chased up so don't just ignore it. I did this a few years ago with FedEx. Months later I got a second letter asking for an extra admin fee for non payment which was a stupid amount of money relative to the original charge.

Well luckily it was ordered in his name :p. We're no longer at the property any more and considering we've heard nothing in the 2 years since we ordered the stuff neither of us are flipping out.

As I said, the postman gave us the form to say we had to collect our goods and pay the charge, whilst dropping off the goods at the same time. I daresay that as far as customs are concerned, we never collected the goods.

I ordered 10 shirts on Friday (chose the $33 UPS delivery option) and it arrived today. Had to pay £30.24 customs charge even though I chose the 'gift' option.

Still, worked out to be about £12 a shirt. Not bad.

Ordered 13 tshirts for me and the gf, expected despatch was 4-7 days after ordering, got despatched within 24 hours, just waiting for them to arrive to see the vat bill, but have factored it in to how much we were willing to spend anyway

Can you not get around it by making more then one order and keeping them all under the limit some how? I really like some of those T's having not seen this website before and am thinking about making a purchase of 2 or 3 now!

you'd get around the VAT but would pay more delivery, I think it would probably be cheaper to just pay the VAT

A gift isn't a gift if it comes from a corporation in the eyes of customs, even if it's a corporate gift.

Only worthwhile if they have a $6/$3 sale.

Beat me to it Taz, was literally just coming on here to search out this thread. I ordered on the 18th, dispatched on the 22nd and was starting to wonder. I expect my card will be here in the next couple of days.

Cheers for the heads up.

weird. usually get my threadless stuff DHL. delivery driver usually comes round with the tees and a bill for the tax. he usually never has any change either, but will tell you the amount and re deliver the next day for free. nightmare!

Ordered 2x 3 t-shirts on 18/19th March, both shipped on 23rd via postal economy. Received a couple of days ago and no customs/taxes, thought I was going to get charged for both as $30 is just over £18.
