Threadripper vs Ryzen 9950X

If price is same get 6000
Though there's also timings speed too

That may have been a thread the other day
Where the point was more slower ram
May be preferable to less of the
Faster ram
Depending on the software being used
Not lower speed is better de facto

I am buying a 9900X. The 9900X3D is more expensive and makes no difference to the wok I do which is 3D animation rather than gaming.
they're more impacted by memory speed than the X3D CPUs, though if you're using the memory then capacity is better than speed. A lot of the cheaper kits available now are JEDEC kits that don't use XMP/EXPO.

Well thanks for all the replies peeps. I went for the DDR5 5600 since I got my wires crossed and it is cheaper. It will certainly be better than the DDR4 2800 I had in my old Threadripper System :-)

It does amaze me that I can buy PC part straight away but if I wanted to get a Mac Studio I would have to wait 10-16 weeks for delivery - weird…
