Is this a viable replacement for BT/Plusnet FTTC yet?
What's people thoughts on this please.

I just yesterday received my router to give this a test myself

Some more info in this thread - https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...obile-masts-do-they-all-transmit-4g.18859184/
Cheers. Just looked at your thread. Some good info there.
I was wanting to trial it like you have whilst keeping my Plusnet connection just in case. I know Three has some great speeds where I live but they are very up and down and by a big margin. I had 70 down last night and tonight (on my pixel 2xl) I am getting 37 so that does concern me a bit.
I will keep testing each night and see how much it changes.

I'd imagine that latency is the weak point. Do you game?

After a couple of days of tests I can see this could be a big factor for some, as my slow fibre connection typically gives pings of 18-20ms and the 4G is anywhere from 35 to 40, I do not play online games so I cant comment any further on it.

The up and down of speeds is my biggest concern but it would have to drop pretty low to beat what I can get from the phone line.
