Hello!

I'm a fairly new mac user (Since this Christmas) but I have just come up with three questions which have had me scratching my noggin all morning!

1) How do you get all files to display their extension? Some files I have do and some don't. Check out this screenshot:

This problem came when I was trying to search for a certain filetype in spotlight. I was doing it like this:

I then tried to search for '.app' but no applications were found!

So my question is this, can I either enable or disable file extensions across my system and secondly whats the best way to search for a certain type of file?

2) I have the apple wireless keyboard and the two buttons in between help/delete and page up/down, I would have thought were "home" and "end" keys. They aren't. What are they? What are they for? Can I change them to Home/End keys?

3) Is there any decent phone management software for the nokia N-series? Something that would allow me to send/recieve text's on my screen and to even make phone calls from it? Something a bit like "blue phone elite"

Command + "," should bring up a window so you click to show extensions

Yeah, I had a look in SP. I had no joy, but I could just be missing something really obvious!

The built in address book software can do number 3 if your mac and phone support bluetooth.

Doesn't really relate to file extensions etc but if you're looking for applications you can use kind:app as opposed to searching for .app. There's a bunch more spotlight tips here

Just tried it on my wired version and it takes me to the bottom or the top of a page but not in increments like page down just straight to the bottom.
