I have been running dual boot with xp and vista but I upgraded the hard drive for vista but now I have three OS showing.

One XP and two Vista, how do I get rid of one? Checked msconfig but couldnt see a way of doing it there.

Thanks

yes, although if the xp hard disk has the vista boot loader on it then you will need to run the repair option off the vista cd

Not if the Vista boot loader is on the XP partition, no.

I dual boot with XP and Vista too. XP is on the first partition and so is the 'Boot' folder. If you format that partition, your computer won't boot.

...and he was never heard from again :D

If there were two instances of Vista which pointed to different partitions, I hope you deleted the right one ;)
