Three performance in Stoke?

Hey all, currently thinking about getting a new phone on the one plan from Three but not really sure on their performance (heard they used to be quite shoddy).Just wondering if anyone here from the Stoke area who is on Three could shed any light on the subject for me.I assume it would be ok in Hanley/Newcastle and other major areas ,but living in Basford/Maybank area which seems to be abit of a blackspot on my current Orange payg,barely getting any reception at all sometimes.Don't really want to tie into a 24 month contract if it isnt upto scratch.

I ordered a phone on three about a month ago. I got between nothing and 1 bar. That's in Hartshill which is very close to Basford/Maybank as I'm sure you know I must admit, I didn't test it in many places, I just sent it back.
