Three Reduce Internet Fair Use Policy to 500MB

I doubt it's strictly enforced, more likely to be used as a specific clause to deal with someone abusing bandwidth.

I just ordered a Desire on 3 last week and will have it on Sunday (I'm currently abroad) and I'm pretty sure the contract was £35pm for unlimited internet, texts, 750mins, and free Spotify for 24 months. I now notice the contract is slightly different - £33pm with 900mins. It's also now saying the "unlimited" internet has a fair use policy of 500MB and you'll be charged at standard rates if you go above this! How can they advertise this as unlimited internet??

I'm certain it didn't say this when I took out the contract last week. It'll be interesting to see what exactly it says on the contract once I get a look at it.

The Vodafone Desire tarrif is 500mb subject to FUP.
So you can use more than 500mb and usually you'll be fine.
Continuously do it and you will gt a letter and be asked to cut down.
If you still ignore then you will start to be charged.

The Vodafone tarrif for the Nexus 1 is 1GB but that is capped.
So the minute you go 1mb over that then you get charged.

The 500MB limit appeared on the website sometime this week. I think you are within your rights to demand they honour what offered you last week (I assume that the larger FUP is more important to you than the extra minutes).
