Three tethering question

Hi all

This is possibly a stupid question, but I just wanted to clarify. My Three contract gives me 1Gb of on phone usage, and I have also added the tethering add-on which gives 1gb of tethering. I assume that means what I now actually have is a 2gb data allowance that can be used for both on device and tethering purposes (I.e., not two separate 1gb pots)?

Thanks for clarification.

Depends.

Some people seem to get unlimited tethering with or without the tethering addon.

I had the unlimited internet tarrif and tethering addon (for £17.90) but got blocked once i went past 1gb tethering tho my phones internet still worked. I had to upgrade to the one plan, which they did for £21, and the tethering now seems to be unlimted.
