1 - Finish Uni
2 - Get a good job
3 - If not already got, get a house and a dog

That's about as much as I have planned, although I'd like them all to be done at the end of 2010, which is entirely possible. :)

Yep, finish my degree, start an ACA at a big 4, and emmigrate. More like a 5 year plan though.
Also in 3 years I want to be able to squat 140kg, bench 120kg, and deadlift 180kg.

I do sort of have a basic 3 year plan. I could go on about wanting to do and achieve allsorts but the short of it is that I am self employed and it the process of opening a shop so hopefully I will have all my debt paid off and be taking a good wage. Time will tell :)

If you're a bloke, you'll think about today and what you're going to be having for dinner this evening.

If you're a woman, you'll have a 5 year plan, you'll be able to think 3 steps ahead, and be able to think around corners.

Friend of mine has a 5-year plan in terms of 'moving up the property ladder', which coincides with stuff like having babies at the right time, switching jobs etc.

As for me, I don't really do long term planning like that. I've kinda drawn up a list of (mostly trivial) things I want to do before I'm 30 or thereabouts (6 months time, might give myself a bit of leeway) though, including:

-Going to a casino
-Doing a pub quiz
-Going to a gym
-Starting some sort of blog
-Attending a rock festival
-Playing the stock market

I've deliberately set myself attainable targets which most people have already experienced by my age, rather than going for some kind of outlandish goals like "travel round the world / run a marathon / have a threesome with twin sisters / drive a grand prix car" etc.

No. I've given up making plans, then only go awry anyway. The furthest I'm looking forward at the moment is up until about Christmas in terms of clearing debt. After that, who knows. I might even try and get a car. All I know is that at some point in the future I would like to return to university for a Masters but where and how I get there is anyone's guess.
