So the name of the first "saga", as well as an animated trailer, has dropped.

TW Sagas are smaller, stripped down campaigns in the style of Atilla, with this first one concentrating on the British Isles. I like the time period, and if it's as polished as Warhammer TW was at release, I'll be happy!

£30 on Steam (although I don't know if that's with a pre-order discount or not), with 25% of the pre-order profits going to War Child.

And yeah, unfortunately it's a version of the Attila engine, which even if they get running smoothly, isn't as good looking as the Warhammer titles. However, given the time period, leaner campaign, and cheaper price, I'd be perfectly fine with that tbh.

Some of the more recent previews were saying it's definitely better optimised than Attila (not that that would be hard). Reviews seem to think the campaign is shallow, but the siege battles are epic. Hmmm I do like what I've seen of sieges so far, but if the campaign map is boring, I may hold off for a while.

I'd actually love a fantasy TW that wasn't Warhammer. Just not a fan of that universe at all. Would really enjoy an official Westeros or Middle Earth TW, but guess the mods will have to suffice for now.

Any early thoughts on Thrones of Britannia?
