Yeah, funnily enough that's my issue with the G27. Sure it is better then the G25, but it also REPLACED the G25, so i won't even consider that wheel until it gets down to £125. Sorry Logitech, but don't take away the G25 and replace it with a wheel that at launch is £125 more than the one it replaces. As*moles

From what I could find out on the net the MS Sidewinder will not work in Win 7 or Vista even if you use the gameport to usb adapter (should work in XP I think).

I may be wrong but that is what I found. Shame really, when I last used it, it worked fine and its now sitting in a box gathering dust.

The G27 is a nice wheel, but come on, compare like for like, its not really a fair comparison to look at the cost of this with, the G27, which is a good mid end wheel, but i am guessing (i have not tried it) this one is aiming some what higher .

Its just a shame its not xbox licenced.

Its rival would more be the Fanatec GT2, which, for me is still the one i am going to have to get - I have used that and that kills the G27.

The fanatec one is a comparable price to the thrustmaster

This looks a nice wheel however, esp if as i said, xbox is not of interest..

I've been looking into this and they say its the best wheel out,best forcefeedback feel,but they also said if your into your F1 and need to change gears quick going around corners then the gear paddles are no good because they dont move with the wheel like the G27,which is a shame as i like my F1.
Also i asked a mate about the clamp and he said it looks exactly like his on his wheel Thrustmaster Rally RGT Pro FFB 2 which snapped after 2 weeks.
I just hope this clamps a lot better at that price.
