They are AM2+ compatible, should be BIOS updates.. gigabyte already have updates for some of their AM2+ boards I believe

Looks interesting a 500mhz increase in clock speed under turbo

It really is, if it's the same for all, looks like the 1065 will be all the way at 3.7ghz just with turbo so should do around 4ghz easily.


I'm wondering if the 975T will unlock to 1065 tho : ), might get one just to test when they're out !

Also it looks like we'll see a huge price drops in all CPUs considering that 1055/1065 is supposed to come out at around 200 and new 965t/975t should be then around 140 so current 965 should drop to around 100-120?

That will put some stress on intel in the lower brackets and we might see i5s drop to 100+ and i7s to 160-180 range.

So was the past half year, get cheap am3 cpu and upgrade almost free to new ones . Btw, what have you decided on buying after all as I didn't seem to notice.
