'thudding' noise from rear wheel...

Morning all, just noticed this on my astra, any guesses what it could be. It sounds just like the Honda advert where the civic drives over the cats eyes in the road . Its a softish "thlooomp thlooomp thlooomp thlooomp " sound, which dissapears after about 30mph.

I guess would be something with suspension, but also thought maybe wheel balancing/allignment.

I'll be going over to vauxhall tomorrow to get it sorted, under warranty, does anyone know what bits i'll need to bring with me?

i had this on an old micra

the cup where the spring sits on the shock had started to break away. the noice was the spring catching the tyre


wore a nice grove into it
