Thunder and Lightning in Southampton

Anyone near Southampton see the large flash?

The thunder took ages to get to Chandlers Ford but damn it was loud.

And they said we would have no thunder storms tonight :rolleyes:

glad you mentioned that! otherwise i'd have slept with the window open. last time i did that during a storm my curtains got soaked.

Yup! Im next to the uni in southampton! Went for a walk but it didnt last long as the thunder is soooo loud!! Plus its starting to rain lol.

EDIT: Now its ******* down and my room is shaking!!

It's the brightest I've seen lightning in a long time, very intense. Really lighting up the room even with the light on.
