Just wanted to say that I went to see Thunder last night at Rock City and just how bloody awesome they still are despite most of them looking like they are about eligible for a council bus pass.

Brought back great memories of when I first saw them as the opening act at Donington (got a great response instead of the usual bottles) and later on New Year's eve at Rock City (circa 1990) when they stayed on for 3+ hours as they didn't want to go home!!

Danny Bowes still has an incredible voice and really got the crowd going as per their reputation for being one of the best live bands around.

I'd just like to extend my gratitude to the band for 2 decades of great music and cracking entertainment and wish them well in their retirement....

Shame they only played a few songs from the earlier albums, I was quite hoping for 'Don't wait for me'. Still, I'm glad I saw them before they go.

Went to see them at Download because they were packing up soon. Absolutely brilliant, and I think if Im honest they were one of the best bands I saw all weekend.
