thunderbolt display alternative

are there any alternatives that are 24 inch to the thunderbolt display?
looking for a display for my 13 inch mba but the thunderbolt display is too large!

Not from Apple.

Dell U2412M is worth a look - IPS panel and DisplayPort input.

I have a pair of these on my MBP - they're great screens - but I'd be tempted to get something higher res.. but if 27" is too big then you don't have much choice I guess!

Same here. Use mine with the MBP. PC and Xbox are on the other inputs. It's a bargain at £200.

Nah, 27" will be just fine

I always thought 27" would be too big when moving to my iMac a few years back, so opted for the 21.5" which seemed massive for a while (used to a laptop screen), now it seems 'normal'.

Going to pick up a 27" thunderbolt display when they're eventually updated, to complement my rMBP for sure

I'm sure there will be plenty of cheaper alternatives out there, but the thunderbolt display has several advantages, including thunderbolt, camera and mag safe charging to name but a few things... Plus they look great!
