Haven't had a storm over Birmingham since I moved into my apartment (Sept 08). I'm waiting for one as I have an awsome view over the city and it would be cool to see one.

It went around us but LOADS of lightning , forking across the sky. Huge shotgun bangs nearby

Heard some violent rumbling not too long ago along with heavy wind. Nothing came from it though, all is back to normal.
