What happened to the storms stretching into the midlands?

It's humid here in Berks, needs a big storm. Rained this morning but then really hot.

Had some thunder and lightning yesterday, where I am in kent about 4pm ish. Some sweet lightning, I've not seen a good thunderstorm in yonks, was sat in the garden watching it, well until it started raining.
