Thunderstorms

I was very surprise we had thunderstorms in Telford for 45 minutes with bolt of lightning, heavy hailstones and gusty wind. Never seen any thunderstorms in January before?

Weirdo weather.

Hit my location about 30 minutes back. Strong wind, hail, thunder and lightning. Near Blithfield reservoir.

Was crazy over Stoke about an hour or so back. Massive rolling thunder, loads of lightning and hail that nearly stripped the skin from my face.

I thought I was hearing things but it does sound like thunder. Weather seems quite volatile today. Haven't seen a storm this time of year for quite a long time.

EDIT: Very dark now, must be coming this way.

We also had that just outside Whitchurch. Very freaky!

Pretty intense; the hale is so fine it might as well be Snow.

The temperature plummeted by about 10 degrees, the air is ice cold now.

Very very strange storm, just passing over Milton Keynes now, saw some flashes but not where they were, I assume a bit north of me (all south/east facing windows).

Suddenly got insanely gusty, water blowing horizontally across the road out infront from the wind being so strong and the thunder was very odd. Normally flash, then rolling thunder. Could only see one flash but the thunder sounded like it was dozens of lightning strikes going on rather than just the one not sure I've ever heard thunder like it. Really shook the hell out of the building as well.

Only the second thunderstorm I've seen since moving. The first was visually much better, much clearer and the strikes were all south of me, best lightning I've seen in years.
