Tiesto's new album

Agree. The album is shy-te.

I absolutely LOVE the old ISOS albums. Used to drive around to ISOS4+5 all the time but nothing since has grabbed me. 6 was ok, 7 was pretty crap.

Sander Van Doorn is class though.

I'm not keen on it at the mo however I don't know if it's a 'grower'. With regards to the track with Nelly Furtado, I think it's alright. Think Tiesto chooses singers with unique voices and that's why Nelly is perfect for that song.

Indeed, he was best from 2004-2007 then declined rapidly. I saw him at the 02 arena just this time last year. Can't describe how many bombs he dropped! Tune after tune after tune, no commercial rubbish, straight up trance with the odd progressive house track at the start to build it up and that was a 5 hour set!

Hes been a bit crap for the past few years now IMO.

Nothing like the old stuff of his, Hes just gone Commercial and Mainstream

Funnily enough i was going to post a thread about him but it looks like ive been beaten to it :D

It's pretty bad... I can't believe what he played at Creamfields.. so dull :(

But I dunno.. he mentioned he kept a bit of his old style and I kinda agree - Loud than Boom and Fresh Fruit... IMO they're very old schooly I can imagine the former being in one of the Magik compilations.. the latter also is quite nice.. that kinda spaced out synth at the end brings it all back.

He has never come close to matching Lethal Industry or Suburban Train except maybe his remix of Gatex and even that was like 02/03. The Airwave remix of In My Memory is the swingers though. Last time I saw him was 2002 at Cream and never downloaded a very good set from him since.
