Tiger goes on rampage

Yeah I heard about that, and expected that it would have been put down before reading it, and guess what, it was

It's a tiger ffs.

I always find it quite sad when animals in reserves or zoos have to be put down because some idiot thinks that a carniverous animal won't attack them just because it is in a protected area. Or in this case just because it attacked a human it had to be put down. What did they expect tigers to eat...cabbages?

its a tiger that shouldnt be caged up, it should be free back in india or siberia or whereever it came from, and they shot an endangered species.

It was shot whilst attacking someone. I think that warrants them putting it down tbqfh. Or would you prefer if they had just left it to kill the person?

Yeah but...it was shot when on another person...of course it would get shot. Why the rolleyes for that? Wasn't as if the people had wandered into its enclosure or anything.

Doesnt matter if it was the last tiger alive once its out and attacking and killing members of the public then safety first.

I put the blame on the zoo for not having a good enough enclosure that allowed the tiger to escape.

Oh I see, I'd only read the BBC article before and not the Reuters one. I was under the impression it was subsequently shot dead. Rolly eyes retracted.

In this case there really was no choice but to disable the animal immediately to avoid the loss of another life. The zoo should have made 100% sure that a dangerous (and endangered) animal could not escape which would put its own and other lives at risk.

Let's get out our tiny violins for the animal sympathiser's online tonight.

It was a dangerous animal on the loose killing a person, it had to be stopped.

Police officers refused to rule out carelessness or criminal activity as possible means for the tiger's escape.

So it looks like there may be a slight chance that some idiot actually let her out for a laugh! Probably the US version of our chavs!
