TIM removing - what cloth??

has anybody used Coollaboratory Liquid Pro Thermal Compound ? ive had laods of trouble with it. its like a liqued metal! terminator 2 style.

ran all over the pc and bored and the floor when the firm i used to fit it took a look.

Just goes to show that people worry far, far too much about this. I use cotton wool buds too, though often just leave it in place.

How much did you put on?
And if worried it was too much, why did you not have the case horizontal when you took the cooler off?

Regina Blitz kitchen roll is cheap, absorbent and lint free.

Dry paper towel and a CC to get off the excess and then paper towel dabbed in ipa to get the remaining residue off (i have lint free cloths but i can never find them.).

+! for kitchen roll! Use with some Akasa TIM cleaner, worked a treat for me.
