Right, so I've got my existing LAN infrastructure, including a router, which I don't really want to change.

I want the Time Capsule to connect to my existing wireless network. Then I want to be able to back up my MBP over the wireless.

Both the Time Capsule and the MBP will be connected to the same wireless access point.

Is this possible?

It's not N-standard.

I could connect it via ethernet for the initial backup. For subsequent ones, it wouldn't matter if it was slow because it would be doing it every hour and is in the background.

Is my logic flawed?

Thanks for the reply :)

Seems utterly, utterly pointless seeing as the time capsule is 300M/bits N.

Buy one but use the time capsule for it's wifi abilities? £100 of the cost is the wifi part of it!
