Hi all its been nearly 18 months since i upgraded my computer so think its time i did. I used to use it for gaming but went to the dark side and bought a Xbox 360 which is where i do all my gaming.
Currently specs are Q6600 @ 3Ghz, 4Gb of Nvidia SLI ram DDR2 800, MSI P7N Diamond M/B, 1000watt PSU, 3 x 500GB Samsung hdd's and 1 x 400GB Samsung hdd and a BFG 8800GT GPU.
Im looking to build a HTPC but i know i will struggle to fit my M/B in a HTPC case so im only looking to keep the Hdd's and CPU. I am after upgrading to DDR3 memory and will have to get rid of the PSU as it will also be too big.
I will have up to £250 to spend on M/B, ram, PSU, GPU and case so what can you recommend? It will only be used to surf the net and play HD movies.
