time for a new build or can i upgrade this to play modern games?

I built my pc about 2 years ago now, its getting slower. just wondering if i should buy all new or is there anything more cost effective i can do to upgrade it?

specs:

mobo: Asrock-FM2A75M-ITX
cpu: A10-5800k
gpu: 6670
ram: 8gb gskill ripjaws
hdd: 1tb black caviar 7200rpm

Changing to a better GFX card would be a quick fix.

What case+PSU do you have?

Is your APU+6670 in crossfire?

its a bitfenix prodigy, it is crossfire. I'm looking to be able to run arma 3, at the moment if i try playing arma 2/3 i get like 15-20 fps on low settings lol, and it crashes a lot on arma 3

Try a GFX card (R9 290) first and see how that copes.

Or 2nd hand 7950/7970 (renamed to 280/280X ).

had a look, if im gunna be splashing out 200+ on a gpu i think im gunna switch to an intel build and have everything new, cheers though
