Currently considering either the Curve 8520, Curve 8900 or the Bold 9700.

Can anyone tell me any differences between these? and which is better etc?

I'm not too fussed about large storage capacity or having the best camera on it.

Thanks a lot

Best one out of all of those devices is by far the 9700 Bold2.

Ive been using one for the past few weeks and have to say its an awesome device...i had the 9000 Bold but thats been retired now to backup duties. But the trackpad is the best thing that RIM have done...wont have any more trackball issues which plagued the 9000 Bold. It also has the fastest processor out of all the BB's on the market...has double the app memory than the previous Bold so it doesnt suffer from memory leaks etc. The battery life on it is simply superb...at the moment i charge my phone every 2 days and thats with pretty hard useage ie emails, texts and calls. The only thing it doesnt have is any onboard storage but am using a 8gb mem card from my 9000 Bold and it works perfectly well.

The difference between the 9700, 8900 and 8520 is that the 9700 has 3G whereas the 8900 and 8520 do not have 3G...the size is similar to the 8900 curve whereas the 8520 is big and bulky and is an entry level BB. The 8900 curve is a nice device as well but it has the trackball so will suffer from trackball issues ie dust and getting clogged up.

Other than those major differences they will all do the same functions albeit slower than the 9700 as thats the fastest BB out.

If i had the choice, id definitely go with the 9700...its a superb little device.
