Hi there

So we cannot repeat the craziness of the £649 Asrock deal, but for PRE-ORDERS ONLY I am willing to offer our next deal at reduced margin for PRE-ORDERS ONLY.

Though the card is £50 more expensive, you are getting £50 worth of extra features and performance, this card is only a 6900 XT by name, but its performance is that of a 6950 XT as it is one of the ultra rare Extreme Performance 6900 XT cards which came out over a year ago and were typically priced around £2000.#

I only have 200 cards coming in, and I am only willing to let 100 be sold at £699 and ONLY whilst on pre-order, when the stock lands these will be £749, still massively cheaper than the new 7900 series due to be released next week, but even better we have stock!

AMD are offering some fantastic performance for the money, especially now with how much faster the 6000 series has become with driver revisions. :)

Cracking deal on the OFC Gibbo!

But I did wonder why you had three of them in stock for two years at £2k?

It was massively overpriced from day one, they cost us £1600 plus vat, selling those last three lost us a couple of grand nearly.

I hate to think how much money Asrock have lost on this deal, not worth thinking about, probably the thing of nightmares.

OK so when can we expect the OCF cards to get dispatched?

Our stock is at customs, thankfully it left China just before they went into lockdown (Covid) which is causing some shipment delays. Stock has landed in Netherlands and is under going a customs check, next stop is UK, we expect them with us end of this week or early next week at which point we will despatch pre-orders. :)

Hi there

The cards have arrived in the UK (Asrock 6900 XT OCF) and are due to be delivered with us tomorrow. :)

If you want one at pre-order price, act fast!

Ok so the XTX has sold pretty well by the looks of things but the XT is still sitting on shelves. I can see that dropping to about £700 if they want to sell any :p

The XT has sold around 300 now.
My feedback to AMD is it should be £799 part to give a £200-250 delta between it and XTX, because XT is a good card but for £100-150 more might as well buy XTX.

But it’s selling OK even more so now our 500 odd XTX sold out so quick.

Some things to try.
Load BIOS defaults and ensure no components are overclocked.
If the GPU has a BIOS switch set it to the quiet mode.

Disconnect fans.

Now see if it’s any more stable at booting.

Yeah I'm not sure given the current prices of the current cards how the rtx4060 & rtx4070 are not gonna be around £600 & £800 respectfully. And that rtx4060 ain't gonna be any faster than a rtx3080 which you were meant to get for that price 2 years ago.

£600 for a 60 card! Incredible. These prices need to come down. What is available to the masses/lower end? O wells, night x

AMD 6500 XT sub £200 ! The card this forum slammed but we’ve sold thousands now as it’s actually a very capable 1080P card.

Best value though is the RX 6600 as it’s actually quite powerful !

@Gibbo is there any more 6800XT, 6900XT or 6950XT deals planned?

Afraid not sorry now.

I suspect when it comes the 7800 XT will over 6950 XT performance and 16G for around $699 and a regular 7800 with maybe 6900 XT performance for like $649 if and when they come, I’d suspect around March.

6900/6950 are pretty much cleared out now I think and there is not much 6800 series left.

I’d hazard we will then see a 7700 XT with 12G at $499 which will performance around 6800 levels and 7600 XT 8G for $399 with 6750XT performance I suspect.

In total guess work but I’d hazard the above March onwards next year. Whether or not the entire range will be nee chipper architecture or AMD will do some classic re boxing and re spinning is an unknown.
