Time for price cut - maybe?

More and more people are realising that they don't need to upgrade their Apple devices each year and realising that their stuff is overpriced as it is.

And anyone that can needs to take a long look at their priorities/life.

Paying £70 for a contract is crazy if you are lower class/middle class. This phone was 100% aimed at the people who can blow money! I love Apple products but I wouldn't dream of buying one like that at that price.

If they pull the plug on this device this early then there must be something wrong.

Anyone that can obviously has no worries with money. (mostly)

Indeed!

Lol, how many top end Android phones can you buy over and Iphone. Have the sheep finally woken up. They have ripped people off for far too long and I hope people start to realize it.

Exactly. For far too long they have pulled the wool over their eyes. About time people started to wake up.

It's It got little to do with being able to afford it, it's more about it being an extortionate amount of money to spend on a phone.

Would you not buy one if you were a footballer or a top sports person? or even someone with lump sum of money? I would if I had the cash but I don't and would never dream of spending £70 on a contract. If I could properly splash cash then I would.

LOL. What is going on in here.

£60/70 a month on a phone is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

It's the best phone available, sounds like a lot of salty non-owners in here!

Well the price on most Apple products should be dropping soon, if they are at all honest and fair, like some people would have you believe they are. Why? Well they increased the prices according to themselves, due to the low £:$ back in 2016, however since they is now mostly corrected, and we are heading towards the $1.45 to £1 that it averaged before the price increases. Knowing Apple, they will come up with some crap excuse to keep the inflated prices, and people will back them all the way regardless of the fact they are being ripped off.

As for the X, people will pay it, since some see it as a status symbol, even though it offers nothing over an 8, except the screen, which is both great, but terrible due to the dumb notch.

Lol if they gave them away I would not have one.

In the voice of Chandler Bing:

Could this guy BE any more tory voter? 'ohh boo hoo the poor people can't afford £70 a month, its nothing in the grand scheme of things'

Yeah if you have the money, I'm sure its nothing to you - you gotta have it spare though you see

They’ve halved production not canned it. The phone could do with a bit of an overhaul. I’m still using a 6 and I can’t be tempted to upgrade yet.

Why? because it is overpriced (yet well made by people in a slave labor farm in China) so that pretty much covers everything us blokes buy. I hate Bill Gates with a passion. You can buy windows 10 for 3 quid in Vietnam, here lets rob people for £100 quid+.

We wish! They now have a massive tax bill to recover in Ireland...

That doesn’t mean that it’s overpriced though, it means you’re paying a premium for the best phone in the market.

I can’t afford a Ferrari but I don’t complain that they’re overpriced.
