Time Lapse with Nikon D70

As far as I can tell there is no time-lapse function built into my trusty D70.
I've been contemplating some kind of 'Proffessor Brainstorm'-style contracption that will depress the shutter at regular intervals. However, it'd be much easier if someone could recommend a cheapish product that will perform this task for me.
ANy ideas?

Thanks again everyone for the great advice.

Try tone up S3 from oxford eye cost about £9 does neff conversion and facilities for time lapse.

;)

Thnaks for that.
Does that work by instructing the camera to take pics via the USB connection from PC? If so then that could be useful, but I'd prefer a standalone solution so that I don't have to cart my laptop around. Any ideas?

AFAIK and have used it it fires the D70s from the usb lead. So yes it does require a PC to fire it (lappy prefered as more portable.

Hope that helps.
