My last day at work is Thursday and I won't be back in work until January 3rd. Apart from Xmas Day and Boxing day I have no real plans other than going to the pub with friends for a couple of nights in between. I won't be doing anything for NYE as I find it totally over hyped.

So my plan is to get stuck into Just Cause 2 and 3 which I have had in my Steam library for ages now and just generally chill out watch tv/movies.

So what are your plans GD?

Edit: This leave is not taken out of my annual entitlement except Jan 2nd which i took out of my own leave. I work for a university so the building is closed and we got this leave as a perk of the job.

I'll be working again. I've not had any time off over Christmas (except the public holidays) since 2003 :(

My last day tomorrow.

Off to Champneys Spa on Wednesday till Friday
Weekend - Will be buying food for xmas day and heading to see my parents/take presents for friends kids
Christmas Eve - Pre-cooking some food
Christmas Day - Get drunk. Likely to be quite subdued as my brother in law died recently

No plans between xmas and NY, probably do a few jobs around the house, try and get some decent runs in.

NYE - We're meeting friends in the day (around 20 of us) in Manchester and then aiming to head home around 8ish

NYD - Hungover mess

Back in work on the 2nd January

I'm off work all month, won't be back till 2nd Jan.

Currently in Tenerife, was meant to return tomorrow but extended it till Thursday. Might extended it again and stop over Christmas.

I'm on garden leave until Jan 14th when I start my new job.
Currently in Vienna, also got a bit of time in Slovakia, then back to the UK.

I'm working in between the normal bank holidays. This year I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather save my holiday for better times of the year when it is less chaotic, busy and expensive.

Finish my proper work on Friday.
I'm also stage crew for a local amateur theatre company so have shows Friday night, Saturday afternoon and evening then strip out all the scenery, lighting and flying kit.
Get organised for Christmas then back to work on 27th & 28th.
Wife's grandparents 60th wedding anniversary on the 29th.
Some beers at New Year, friend party on the 1st then back to work on the 3rd.

Hopefully its going to really cold and wet, so i can stop inside all week with the log burner on, reading my books and listening to some tunes, with the occasional rant on PUBG discord. Its going to be a boring 2019 spent saving for couple of new major toys for 2020 :) or maybe just one depending on running costs :)

Rock n Roll MOFOS

Finish on 21st, taking 2 weeks off so back in on 7th Jan. Although knowing me I'll probably start working on the 2nd...

My plans?

Nothing. Literally nothing. I used to be all go out party etc but lately I can't be bothered.

Off Christmas Day & Boxing Day as I’ve used up my spare leave entitlement when my granddaughter was born (well worth it) usually save a few days to extend the Christmas break.

Chances are though work will be quiet over the festive period so I’ll probably still get a few extra days and will be paid my basic contract hours anyway.

If I get the extra days, great, if not, no worries I enjoy driving over the holiday period as the roads (away from shopping centres) are usually very quiet.

I work all normal weekdays between Xmas and NYE as the office is dead, I do pretty much nothing, and get paid for it.

Also means I get to use my leave days for more important things. :D
