Time Passing Quickly

What if I told you that 1994 was 20 years ago.

Jesus Christ :(

I left school not long after that, started doing my apprenticeship, knew how to do calculus and knew how to write assembly language.

I'm good at my job now, but Jesus, why is my brain such an incompetent mess at everything else? I think I destroyed most of my childhood memories through alcohol abuse, too. :(

What i have noticed is no matter what age you are over 20 odd-ish!

You always feal around 25 in the head, even though you 40 + odd... ;)

Time seems to go quicker when your older because you are more likely to be set in daily routines I.e get up, school run, work, home. Dinner, tv, bed, get up etc, because of this you start to look forward to the weekends as this is where your routine can break, the problem with looking to the weekend you tend to just go through the rest of the week as quickly as you can which makes it feel like its passing more quickly.

I cant believe I left school nearly 20 years ago :O.

I always think to myself "I should do something different every single day to prolong my life experiences", I never seem to have time to do it though.

Exactly this, it also helps to be busy as when you have a deadline, time definitely seems to go a lot faster. When I was in school one year seemed to take ages but I had my first year in full time employment last year and it seemed like it took no time at all.

Did you just admit to doing nothing at school?

:D

Im not sure about this, I think it is all relative to your age

one day when your 5 is 0.05%
one day when your 50 is 0.005%

So one day when your 50 would have 1/10th the significance than when your 5

:)

It's relative to both your age, and how busy you are.

Also you spelt "you're" wrong 4 times!

Time feels about right all the time for me. I finished college about 18 months ago, it feels like 18 months ago. Its probably because I have no social life so time drags on.

For me it felt like time passed at normal pace till my first child was born now the day is over so fast and i still have so much to do

The faster you think and act, the slower time feels.

Generally not engaging yourself, doing the christmas routine, i.e. boring work dinners or parties, relatives etc. Time flies.

Edit: Missed the last one :(

Quite the opposite for me - if I'm bored, time hangs about, if I'm busy and active time goes by a lot quicker. So all you mentioned would make time go by quickly.

Does anyone else find that time seems to pass quickly at this time of year?

I feel like just yesterday I was having christmas lunch.

Anyone else find the time passing quickly in January?

It does when i'm at home, time vanishes instantly.

When I'm work time entire epochs of time pass each day, empires rise and fall... you get the idea.
