Currently I am banging around on a set of Dunlop Sport Sp01's for fronts and P6000's on the rear.
I never read a review of the Dunlops but I got them because they were fairly expensive and made by Dunlop, so they weren't going to be rubbish.
I admit that in the wet they may not be as good as the F1's, but coming from a set of Stunner Torneo's any problems I do encounter are now well within my skill level to sort out. Going out in the rain with those things was like rolling a dice for your life.
Edit: Plus point of Dunlops, they don't have ' *** sidewallz of cheese OMG 11111!!11oneoenene!!'![]()
Why do you need to raise and lower it? Toe should be set with the vehicle at ride height. I'm sure you know about bump steer.Muncher said:Not if you have to raise and lower the car.![]()

Thought so, need to make sure that the bar is perfectly horizontal really though, thats why axle stands come in handy, looks wonky with the tape. You need the horizontal distances between the strings at each end to be identical. A good trick to remove tyre stiction is to put the wheels on two sheets of metal with a layer of oil in between.Muncher said:I mean raising and lowering to get at the tie rods to adjust them.
In the wet, yes. In the dry quite the opposite.quackers said:Would you say the pirelli's are bad tyres?
