Yes but how can they determine that it’s driver error on things like that? A clutch should not fail on a 12 month old car with 12k miles. And should without doubt be covered on a warranty.
My Mondeo ST220 is still on the original clutch at 87k even though it’s driven really hard and covers 1k miles per month. Same with my previous 220 that had 94k miles and my Focu ST that had 88k upon sale. Not even a sign of them being worn even with that mileage.
