Time to RMA?

Hey guys,

Was going to use this Seagate Barracuda ST3250410AS drive for a new system build i was doing,But the drive was just not been detected in Windows or Linux for instillation.

So ive put the drive into an external USB Sata2 drive caddy,ran HD Tune Pro and its throwing tons of LBA errors.

In windows disk management it gives this issue also...

Time to RMA?...its still under warranty...would have to go to Seagate though.

It's probably dead.

Run Seagate's diagnostics with the drive connected to the motherboard to check. Running their diagnostics is a step of their RMA procedure so there's nothing to lose.

They have a UK returns address, so the postage shouldn't be too bad.
