Time to settle the greatest of OCUK GD argument of all time...

In days of old
When Knights were bold
And toilets weren't invented,
You dug a hole in the ground
And sat there quite contented

I thought that whether a plane would take off from a conveyor belt was the greatest GD argument?

How does the OPs pic solve that?

It doesn't matter either way.
A proper argument would be jam first or clotted cream first? Scone or skon? Pork belly or belly pork etc etc

Its a scone. You answered your own question by needing to spell it differently for the other sound!

As for the other two, it really doesn't matter. :p

Yes yes... I know it's a scone, you know it's a scone but for some reason some of the uneducated insist on trying to pronounce it differently to how it's spelt. Trying to be posh or something?

Possibly! :p

Though it might just be an accent thing..?

Like grass and gras, glass and glas, garidge and garahhge.

You spread jam and dollop cream, therefore the jam has to go on first to achieve the desired layering. Anything else is the work of a deranged mind.

This proves nothing. There is no indication on the figure where the wall is. Without the mounting bracket attachment to the wall it is impossible to tell which is "out" and which is "in". Are we looking from the front, or from the back?

Nothing has been resolved.

I tend to place the roll so it hangs over the front and down, but I'm not really fussed as long as there is a roll on the hanger, and if it's running low a spare on the cistern.

*mutters some very rude things about people who leave 2 sheets on the roll and don't leave a replacement handy*
